Many students arrive unprepared for the demands of academic discussion and critical analysis. Our group sessions use the Harkness Method, combining Socratic learning with seminar-style discussions to build confidence, sharpen thinking, and help students excel academically.

MY STORY

Why Shani's Tutoring?

Hi, I'm Shani.

I started tutoring in 2015 with MyTutor during university, but my passion for helping students began earlier as a sixth-former at The Latymer School, where I volunteered and ran a revision club.

While studying for my MA in History, I supported A-level students, earned a teaching EFL qualification, and created an international essay group.

After briefly working in HR and Accounts, I returned to tutoring full-time during COVID, helping GCSE and A-level students online and developing innovative teaching methods like the Harkness approach.

Since 2023, I’ve been running summer sessions to equip students with the skills to excel at A-level and build confidence in their independent learning.
